Connage won accolades in three different categories at the International Cheese Awards. Their Connage Clava took home gold in the ‘Soft, Semi-soft or Cream Cheese’ category, whilst the Connage Dunlop was awarded silver in the ‘Best Territorial Hard Cheese: UK Producers’ section and bronze in the ‘Best Organic Cheeses’ section.

Connage’s success at the International Cheese Awards comes a couple of months after another string of wins at the 2018 Artisan Cheese Awards where they won Gold in the ‘Flavoured’ cheese category for their Connage Gouda with cumin and shared Best Cheese in Scotland with St Andrews Cheese company

Jill Clark, Co-Owner at Connage Highland Dairy had the following to say about their recent success:

We were thrilled to discover we had won gold at the international cheese awards! It’s still such a joy to know that people continue to enjoy our cheeses, and we’re always humbled by the support we receive from customers and the local community.”

She continued:

It is with a real sense of pride that we add a gold accolade from the International Cheese Awards to our trophy cabinet. We’re so pleased that our decision to diversify our dairy herd in 2006 continues to be a success, and we’re looking forward to what the future holds.
