Did you catch our client, Rory Christie of Dourie Farming Company, in a recent feature in The Scottish Farmer? His story, 'Farming, Family and Wellbeing in Scotland', was a reminder of how important it is to look after yourself in business.
Rory shared three key tips that apply to all of us, no matter what we do:
Rest Your Mind & Body: You wouldn't run your farm machinery into the ground, so don't do it to yourself. Make sure you're taking time to rest your brain as well as your body.
Get a New Perspective: Taking time away from the farm to exercise or do something creative can help you gain perspective and prevent stress from building up.
Connect with Others: Friendship is invaluable. Whether it's a rugby club, a discussion group, or a simple phone call, discussing things with others is good for your mind and for your business.
There's only one thing we love more than our clients being seen and heard in all the right places, and that's coaching them how to do it for themselves.
Promoting your business can feel overwhelming. Where do you start? What do you say? How do you make sure the right people are listening?
Instead of doing the PR for you, I want to work with you—mentoring and teaching you how to confidently manage your own marketing and PR. I'll give you the skills, strategies, and insider knowledge you need to promote your business effectively, without the long-term cost of outsourcing.
My hands-on, practical support is tailored to your business, helping you get press coverage, manage social media, and get your message out to the right audience.
If you know you should be doing more to promote your business but don't know where to start, hit reply. You'll gain the skills to do it yourself and get lasting results.
